We're a small community, and we're still growing, on purpose. Everyone here applied to be here, so the people you meet are people who wanted in. All ages are welcome, and the rules are written so that's actually true.
It's the perfect place to relax with some friends: build something, wander off, trade a bit, and not get shouted at. Nothing here is huge, and nothing needs to be.
The world runs on Loadd Tokens. You earn them through jobs and trading, spend them at the shop or in the auction house, and use them to buy more claim blocks when your base outgrows the first ones. Java and Bedrock play in the same world, and there's a live map for when you want to see where everyone's built.

Most servers are loud, sweaty, and pay-to-win. This one isn't.
Loadd SMP is deliberately small. Everybody applies before they get in, which means the people you meet here chose to be here and agreed to how it works. No corporate chaos, no buying your way to the top, no getting shouted at for being new.
A survival world with land claims, a working player economy, and staff who step in when something goes wrong. Claim your base with a golden shovel and nobody can touch it. Outside your claim, the world is fair game, including PvP, where you do lose what you're carrying.
Everything runs on plugins, so there's nothing to install. Java and Bedrock players share the same world. You start with a set number of claim blocks; if you need more, you buy them with Loadd Tokens from a staff member.

Tokens are valuable here. They just aren't the whole game.
On the big economy servers, money is the game: everything has a price and the grind never ends. Loadd runs differently. Loadd Tokens are the in-game currency, and they are kept deliberately scarce, which makes each one worth a good deal. A modest balance goes a long way: it buys what you need at the shop, wins bids in the auction house, settles trades with other players, and pays a staff member for more claim blocks when your base outgrows the first ones.
But you never have to. Everything tokens buy, you can also do the old-fashioned way: mine it, grow it, build it, or ask someone. Tokens are the easier route, not the only one, and nobody here will look at you differently for taking the slow one.
Jobs, trading with other players, and selling in the auction house. Tokens can't be bought with real money. There's no store, and there won't be one.
/shop for the basics, the auction house for everything else, and a staff member for extra claim blocks. Prices are set by players, so they move.

Loadd SMP is in its first season. The world is live and everything built here stays here.
What's in S1: land claims with a golden shovel, Loadd Tokens across the shop, auction house and player trades, Java and Bedrock cross-play, a live map, and PvP in unclaimed land.
Season 2 happens if S1 becomes a hit, not on a fixed date. The plan for it: a bigger Discord, a better-built spawn, more community builds, and a more polished setup overall. Same world philosophy, just further along.
